Pools to Schools

Making waves in Educations. Empowering schools with onsite swimming programmes
We are revolutionising school swimming lessons with our ‘Pools to Schools’ programme, an innovative and fully mobile swimming solution designed to remove the barriers schools often face when accessing traditional swimming facilities.

How it works

Embrace is proud to be providing the Elite Swimming ‘Pools to School’ Programme for the Shropshire Area. With a 10m x 5.5m filtered and heated swimming pool, qualified swimming teachers and life guards. We offer structured swimming lessons that meet the national curriculum as well as an option for after school clubs.

On-Site Pool Setup
A purpose-built marquee is constructed on your school playground the week before lessons begin. Inside the marquee, we install and fill our heated swimming pool, ensuring all safety, hygiene, and operational checks are completed well in advance of the first session. This allows the pool to reach the correct temperature and ensures everything is ready for your school’s swimming timetable.

Lesson Structure
Each lesson lasts 30 minutes, with a maximum of 12 pupils per session. This small group size ensures every child receives focused support and high-quality instruction. To maintain the highest standards of safety and delivery, each session is staffed by:
1 qualified swimming teacher
1 lifeguard

We structure the timetable so pupils spend no more than 45 minutes out of class, allowing time to get changed before and after their lesson.

Daily Capacity
Lessons run back-to-back throughout the day, providing a smooth, efficient timetable. A standard school day allows 108 pupils to swim each day. For schools opting to include a lunch-time swimming session and an after-school swimming club, capacity increases to up to 120 pupils per day.

A Fully Managed Service
We handle all elements of pool installation, water quality management, safety procedures, and daily operations, ensuring your staff can focus on supporting the pupils. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience that gives every child the opportunity to learn essential swimming skills in a familiar and comfortable environment.

Why Use Our Pool?

The Pools to school program offers a more accessible, cost-effective and convenient alternative to traditional leisure centre swimming lessons. By bring portable, heated pools directly to school, this initiative eliminated barriers such as travel time, high facility costs and limited availability, ensuing that more children can participate in essential swimming lessons. Unlike leisure centres, where classes can be overcrowded and schedules restrictive, Pools to Schools provides a focused learning environment tailored to the needs of each school. This means students receive more personalised instruction, develop confidence in the water faster and integrate swimming seamlessly into their school day – making it a practical and inclusive solution for water safety education.
